British reports on the Jewish role in Bolshevism




This is file FO 608/196 at the TNA in Kew, it is mostly a compilation of secret reports prepared for the British Delegation at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919 about conditions in Bolshevik Russia. It contains numerous reports on the decisive role being played by Jews in the Bolshevik regime; following are a few extracts:

"Such hatred as that with which the Bolsheviks are regarded must find a scapegoat upon which at some time suddenly and unexpectedly to vent its fury.
That scapegoat is the Jew.

4. Whatever part the Jews may or may not have played in the making of the Bolshevik revolution and in the carrying out of the Bolshevik policy (on these subjects discussion still rages), the fact that the Jewish element of the population is now in unchallenged possession of the reins of civil administration is so marked that it is impossible any longer not to concentrate one's attention on it. Especially interesting is it to remark in what branches of service the Jews, after a year and a half of this regime, have succeeded in installing themselves. In the ranks of the army and navy they are almost non-existent (by what manner they contrive to evade military service is to the common mind a mystery): only the positions (purely political) of regimental Commissars are sometimes held by them. But in the Central Food Department of Petrograd, of the responsible posts from 60 to 70% are hald [sic] by Jews, while only the lower positions are filled by Russians with only 10% of Jews. In the provinces in many places the Purchasing Commissions consist solely of Jews (100%) who determine fixed prices. In daily life it is very noticeable that a Jew is never seen standing in a food queue, and by some subtle means the Jews certainly do succeed in avoiding the greater part of the misery suffered by the rest of the population. These circumstances have long been the subject of bitter comment by the Russian people, who attribute the sum total of existing wretchedness and suffering to the hated race, and it would be unwise for the Allies not to prepare for the possibilities to which this bitter animosity may lead." "In December the Bolsheviks set up an independent White Russian Republic at Minsk, which subsequent united with the Moscow Government. A later report, however, speaks of the setting-up of a Central Soviet at Vilna, which proclaimed the union of Lithuania and White Russia. The two may, for practical purposes, be regarded as dependencies of the Moscow Government. The White Russians are extremely illiterate and backward and are without any nascent "national consciousness." As they are so closely allied to the Great Russians, the best solution of their problem would be their re-absorption into Russia. It should be noticed that this is the policy apparently advocated by the Jews of both White Russia and Lithuania; the Jews have contributed largely to the personnel of the Soviets in Lithuania and White Russia." "Bolshevism is in no sense a Russian party or a section of the Russian public. It is the extreme doctrine of an entirely international and anti-national movement which aims at the abolition of all national distinctions and the substitution of distinctions of class and an envenomed class war, with the establishment of a dictatorship of the former working class, not to be exercised by that class but by self-appointed leaders, most of whom are not of Russian but of Jewish origin."

"I have the honour to report that Swiss people who have reached here from Russia within the last few days state that a Jew named Krassin, who was general manager for Siemens, Schuckert, & Co. in Russia before the war, has become the chief adviser of the Bolchewick [sic] Government in industrial matters; that a Mr. Feldhausen, a British subject who has lived all his life in Russia and is manager for the above firm at Moscow, is still at his post; and it is reported that this firm has a working arrangement, at least as far as Russia is concerned, with its former chief rival in Germany, the A.E.G. The suggestion is that by means of trusts such as these and by working on the Jewish affinities of Bolchewik [sic] leaders and heads of German industry, the Germans have been preparing the way for future exploitation of Muscovite territory. It may perhaps be worth recalling that, some months [ago?], the head of the A.E.G. Walter Rathenau, stated publicly that Lenin had a chance to show himself the greatest statesman and organiser the world had ever seen and that this was not long after the (acknowledged) discovery by Lenin that it would be necessary to utilise the brains and experience of business heads in building up the new system."

June 1944: Sharett claims 6,000,000 are already dead

On the morning of June 15th, 1944, Ben Gurion and Sharett visited MacMichael in his office located in the King David Hotel, Jerusalem, with details of the supposed offer made by the Germans to the Zionists: to exchange 1,000,000 (or perhaps 2,000,000!) Hungarian Jews for 10,000 trucks, some coffee, tea and soap.
That afternoon MacMichael sent a telegram to Stanley in London, and this telegram is found in the aforementioned file at the TNA, it reads it part:
"3. Shertok derived the impression that enemy motives were mixed, and might be all or any of the following:-
(a) the purely realistic object of getting various commodities from us through the only medium of exchange available;
(b) hope that by obtaining some credit in our eyes for not slaughtering 2,000,000 Jews they would get away with the fact that they had slaughtered 6,000,000 Jews already;"

And it's gone




The above has been the banner on this blog for around two years, but today I made the decision to 'pull it', to borrow a phrase from Larry Silverstein.
A couple of people have recently pointed out that it's immediately off putting, to whom I'll call 'neutral' visitors, and discourages linking to here. Opinions I completely understand. I also believe that the banner isn't in keeping with the more assiduous direction I hope this blog has taken in the last year to eighteen months. 
I've replaced it with a cropped version of one of my photos of the former Nazi concentration cum "death" camp Majdanek. Although I'm not thrilled with it, it'll have to do for now.

"International Jewry is a power after all"

According to the January 16, 1920 edition of the Judische Rundschau (Jewish Review) a Zionist newspaper published in Berlin: During a speech in Jerusalem in December 1919, Chaim Weizmann, who months later would become president of the (World) Zionist Organisation, stated the following:
Lloyd George once said: I know the Palestinian front much better than I know the French front, for every patch of land and every stream is familiar to me from the Bible. Palestine is, above all, a matter of the Bible for England. The English believe in the Bible more than many groups in Jewry.  Thus, first came the idealistic grounds [for the decision to issue the Balfour Declaration], and only afterwards the material. We are the ones who have made clear to the English political leadership that it was in England's interest to join with us, to spread the British protectorate over Palestine. We reached the [Balfour] Declaration not by miracles, but through persistent propaganda, through unceasing demonstration of the life force of our people. We told the responsible authorities: We will establish ourselves in Palestine whether you like it or not. You can hasten our arrival or you can equally retard it. It is however better for you to help us so as to avoid our constructive powers being turned into a destructive power which will overthrow the world.
We demand neither a charter nor concessions, but rather a complete national edifice that meets the following preconditions: the right to acquisition of ownerless land, the facilitation of land acquisition in general, the prerogative of developing public works, complete autonomy in the spiritual and intellectual sphere, and last not least, a direct influence upon the English administration in the territory.  The regulation of immigration by us is, for us, likewise an unconditional demand.

Eine große Rede Weizmanns in Jerusalem Vor der Abreise aus Palästina

Spezialbericht der „Jüdischen Rundschau“.

Am ersten Chanukkahabend sprach Prof. Weiz-mann vor seiner Abreise aus Palästina in einer öffent-lichen Versammlung in Jerusalem.

Er begann mit einem Rückblick auf die Entwicklungsgeschichte des Zionismus. Der Judenstaatsbegriff Herzls war im Laufe der Zeiten vielfach und verschiedentlich kommentiert und blieb trotzdem unklar. Selbst das Basler Programm war nicht eindeutig genug. Was heißt eine „öffentlich-rechtlich gesicherte Heimstätte?“ Wir wollten uns gar nicht mehr in die Deutung dieses Begriffes vertiefen, wir benutzen ihn als Schlagwort, als Parole, deren Deutung wir den kommenden Tagen überließen. Ja, manchmal wünschten wir geradezu in gewisser Entfernung von diesem erhabenen, aber nebelhaften Ziel zu bleiben, und stemmten uns gegen praktische Verwirk-lichungarbeit in Palästina. So irrte das Basler Programm gespenstartig von Kongreß zu Kongreß. Am vierten Kongreß versuchte Herzl selber, der abstrakten Parole Blut und Fleisch zu verleihen. Auf die Frage, was wollen wir, antwortete er: einen Charter. Seitdem wurde das Wort „Charter“ zum neuen Schlagwort, bis endlich am sechsten Kongresse die Krise ausbrach, als Herzl erklärte, wir „stehen vor einer eisernen Wand“. Es kam Uganda und daraufhin kehrten wir zur praktischen Arbeit in Palästina zurück. Professor Weiz-mann verweilte bei einer Episode, die von historischer Tragweite geworden ist. Es handelt sich um ein Gespräch zwischen Weizmann und Balfour zur Zeit des Ugandastreites. Balfour verstand nicht, warum die russischen Juden so gegen den englischen Vorschlag verbittert sind. In langen Auseinandersetzungen hat Weizmann versucht, den Standpunkt der russischen Zionisten plausibel zu machen und dieses Gespräch wurde die Brücke zu den politischen Verhandlungen während des Krieges, die zur heutigen Konstellation geführt haben.

Professor Weizmann betonte, daß die Schönheit des Ideals der jüdischen Renaissance das Entscheidende für die englische Deklaration war. Es sei eine irrtümliche Auffassung, daß England uns den Vorschlag nur aus eigenem Interesse heraus machte. Lloyd George sagte einmal: Ich kenne die Palästinafront viel genauer als die französische, denn jeder Flecken und jeder Bach ist mir aus der Bibel vertraut. Palästina ist für England vor allen Dingen ein Gegenstand der Bibel. Die Engländer glauben an die Bibel noch mehr als manche Schichten im Judentum. Zuerst kamen also die ideellen Gründe, nachher kamen die materiellen hinzu. Wir sind es, die den englischen politischen Führern klargemacht haben, daß es im Interesse Englands ist, sich mit uns zu vermählen, die Fittiche des britischen Adlers über Palästina auszubreiten. Wir erreichten die Deklaration nicht durch Wundertaten, sondern durch beharrliche Propaganda, durch unaufhörliche Beweise von der Lebenskraft unseres Volkes. Wir sagten den maßgebenden Persönlichkeiten: Wir werden in Palästina sein, ob Ihr es wollt oder es nicht wollt. Ihr könnt unser Kommen beschleunigen oder verzögern, es ist aber für Euch besser, uns mitzuhelfen, denn sonst wird sich unsere aufbauende Kraft in eine zerstörende verwandeln, die die ganze Welt in Gärung bringen wird.

Wir verlangten nicht einen Charter und nicht Konzessionen, sondern ein ganzes nationales Gebäude, das folgende Vorbedingungen hat: Das Recht auf Erwerb von herrenlosem Boden, die Erleichterung des Bodenerwerbs überhaupt, ein Vorrecht bei öffentlichen Arbeiten, eine vollständige Selbstverwaltung auf geistigem Gebiete und last not least [English in original] einen direkten Einfluß auf die englische Behörde im Lande. Die Regulierung der Einwanderung durch uns ist für uns ebenfalls eine unbedingte Forderung.

Es muß aber vor einer überstürzten Einwanderung gewarnt werden. Mit Wehmut müssen wir der Tatsache ins Auge sehen, daß der Zionismus nicht ein Heilmittel gegen Katastrophen ist. Als wir vor der Friedenskonferenz von einer Einwanderung Zehntausender jährlich sprachen, war es hochgegriffen. Nicht, weil es unmöglich ist; das Land könnte diese Zahl wohl auf-nehmen, aber bei uns sind die gewaltigen aufbauenden Kräfte, die dafür nötig sind, heutzutage nicht da. Vielleicht werden wir nach zehn Jahren mehr leisten können. Zur Verzweiflung aber liegt kein Anlaß vor, denn die Hauptsache ist, wir sind nicht vom Wege abgewichen, im Gegenteil, wir gehen langsam aber sicher vorwärts. Der hie und da auftauchende Pessimismus ist eine Folge der maßlosen Sensationen, die wie immer im Zionismus (erinnern wir uns an das Gespräch Herzls mit Wilhelm II), so auch jetzt die Phantasie der jüdischen Massen erhitzen. Wir müssen demgegenüber immerzu darauf hinweisen, daß die englische Deklaration eine Schale ist, deren Kern von uns geschaffen werden muß. Wenn wir das tun, werden wir am Ende finden, daß unsere Taten die richtige Deutung des Basler Programms sind.

Der Redner wandte sich am Schluß der arabischen Frage zu. Er warnte vor der schädlichen und falschen Auffassung, wir könnten unser Gemeinwesen über den Arabern bauen. Wir können unser historisches Recht auf das Land nur neben der arabischen Bevölkerung verwirklichen. Durch gemeinsame Arbeit werden wir sie hoffentlich zum Verständnis dafür gewinnen,daß wir hierher nicht als preußische Junker, sondern als Menschen kommen, die einem heiligen nationalen Ideal folgen, denen das Recht und die Gerechtig-keit als oberste Richtlinien gelten.

Die Rede Weizmanns wurde mit stürmischen Ovationen begleitet. Der Vorsitzende der Versammlung, David Yellin, und Ussischkin sprachen im Namen des Jischubs den Wunsch aus, Weizmann möge es vergönnt sein, schon in wenigen Monaten nach Pa- lästina zurückzukommen, mit der Freiheitsrolle in der Hand.

man, turned immensely influential British politician

On November 9, 1956, in the immediate wake of what's now called the Suez Crisis, Wigg made a speech in the House of Commons in which he strongly criticised the British, French and Israeli governments. The full text of his speech can be read here, but I'll just point out how he closed the speech:

"For in sorrow must I say that I regret that after 2,000 years of wandering, of the ghetto,
the concentration camp and the gas chamber, the Jewish people have learned nothing."

The Electrocution of the European Jews

On May 19, 1943, George Ridley said in the House of Commons:
"... we are in the presence of an altogether new and terrible situation, terrible because it has revealed the unbelievable capacity of modern man for sadistic cruelty, terrible because of the consequences of that cruelty to the victims, most of whom are charged with only one crime—the crime of being Jews. It is enough to contemplate for a moment the process of mass electrocution to realise what a chapter of horror is being written in our history. My plea to the Government is to recognise that those horrors impose upon us an inescapable responsibility, and we should endeavour to write a compensating chapter of magnificent deliverance in the same history."

Later in the same debate, David Grenfell said:
What is the kind of problem with which we are faced? Germany is suffering and has been suffering for years from a kind of mania movement based on anti-Semitism, which is anti-Christian, and anti everything which is not' Nazi, looking for culprits in every corner of German society, and getting the Germans to hate the Jews. One hears in this House and sometimes in the country that Jews are a formidable branch of the human race and are out-numbering everybody else and usurping the ordinary man whether in London, Berlin or elsewhere. The contrary is the fact. The Jews are a very small proportion of the German Reich; they are less than one per cent. of the German Reich, and less than one per cent. of the population of this country. I have often asked myself and the German people in the days before the war, What is wrong with 99 Germans when they cannot look after one Jew? Why should 99 Englishmen be induced to hate one Jew? There is something wrong when they cannot order their joint lives so that everyone plays his proper part in society. There is a pernicious moral element at work in Europe, the effects of which are not confined to the atrocities now being committed there. We are witnessing the degeneration of Europe, not of the Jews, under the stress of this propaganda movement which is being directed against them. We have witnessed in Germany a return to the executioner's axe, freely employed upon political as well as racial opponents. We have seen in recent months the Germans resort to mass murder with deadly, lethal weapons and with electricity and gas—a terrible thing which makes decent-minded people despair of the humanity that is capable of condoning such happenings without expressing a deep sense of revolt and shame.

Weizmann meets Trotsky and Lenin in Switzerland




Russian Zionist Jew Chaim Weizmann, Russian Bolshevik Jew Trotsky, and Russian
Bolshevik (Jewish enough to qualify as 'Jewish' under Israel's Law of Return) Lenin


I've previously posted on Weizmann and Lenin meeting in a Paris café during 1910, where I'd mentioned that it was possible they had meet in Geneva during 1904; an article in Life June 12, 1939, states that Weizmann couldn't remember whether he'd meet Lenin or not. Which is very strange, as in 1932 Weizmann had no problem at all recalling details of meeting and debating with Lenin, and Trotsky.

On the evening of December 11, 1932, Weizmann was attending a "Mass Students' Rally, organised by the University of London Zionist Society" in Victoria House, Bloomsbury Square, London. His speech to the rally was paraphrased in the December 16, 1932 edition of The Jewish Chronicle, and it reads:
"When he first went to Switzerland, the attempt to found a Student Zionist Society at Berne, which had then about six hundred Jewish students, men and women, resulted in the assembling of eight of them in a little room. The overwhelming majority of the students were then anti-Zionist, because they thought they were internationalists. Later they announced that a paper would be read ; it was his paper. And their opponents, apparently inspired by this new movement, brought their biggest guns ; Lenin and Trotsky, who were immigrants at the time, were among them, and they had a great time. The arguments lasted three days and three nights, and the Swiss Professors could not understand why the Universities had become empty! On the third day they announced that they had formed the new Zionist Society, and their eight grew to many hundreds. Since that time, Zionism had become established in Switzerland. A great many of those students were now in Palestine occupying important and responsible posts as teachers or directing colonisation or other institutions."
Weizmann (who was warning about the peril of 6,000,00 European Jews from as early as 1936) also told the meeting:
"The position of a large proportion of the Jews in the world was, in his opinion, far worse than it ever was in a great many of the darkest periods of Jewish history."

According to Robert Service, Trotsky was in Switzerland during at least the early part of 1904 (Trotsky, MacMillian: 2009, p.79.).

I'd first posted the photo below in February 2012, but admittedly I provided no details as to where or when it was taken, and today someone claimed it was "fake", so I decided to find out more about it.

Above is a photo of the Schloss Rheydt (wiki / museum website), a 16th century palace in Rheydt, Mönchengladbach, which stands on the site of a castle built in the 11th century. Since 1917 the palace has owned by the town of Rheydt, and beginning in 1940 it was partially converted into a home for local boy Joseph Goebbels. According to the museum which now occupies the palace, he only ever stayed there twice.


Due to the close proximity of windows A and B on adjoining walls in both of the photographs, it's probable that the Jewish service took place inside the room indicated on the photo of the exterior of the palace, which, thanks to the excellent website of the museum, we know is called Rittersaal (Knights' Hall), and looks like this:  
Again I've labelled the three windows which appear in the 1945 photo as A, B and C.
On the museum's website there's an option to view a 360-degree panorama of the Rittersaal, and it's a very large and impressive room, perhaps there was more Nazi regalia present at the Jewish service, aside from the swastika flag on which the Ark containing the Torah scroll held by Abraham Mirmelstein was placed.

"Antisemitic" Bolsheviks ban the word 'Yids'






Strange the JC should be accusing Trotsky of robbing "Jewish shopkeepers as pillars of anti-Bolshevism", because he said the following just 30 days after this article appeared:
"Anti-Semitism has grown stronger among the bourgeoisie, among the shopkeepers and tradesmen ... The very first order of the Bolshevist government was that pogrom makers shall be shot down on the spot without trial."

As for the word "Szidi" or Zhidy (Yids): 
"The Slavonic terms zhid and evrei both mean "a Jew." Zhid did not carry a pejorative connotation until the middle of the nineteenth century," (source)

"sixty percent of the Bolshevik leaders are Jews"

On the trustworthy authority of the well-known Zionist leader M. Idelson (of Petrograd), I am in a position to state that only two and a-half per cent of the Jews in Petrograd have declared themselves in sympathy with Bolshevism. Although sixty pert cent of the Bolshevik leaders are Jews, and although a declaration against Bolshevism involves serious sacrifices, the Jews of Petrograd have fearlessly stated their attitude towards the movement. We are, therefore, confronted with the anomaly of the Jews furnishing for the Bolsheviki the majority of their leaders, although a smaller percentage of Jews than of any other nationality approve of Bolshevism.








Weizmann's six million timeline




Rather unsurprisingly, Chaim Weizmann (an old drinking buddy of Vladimir Lenin, and the first president of the State of Israel) also claimed that six million Jews had been killed before he was supposed to have known that six million Jews had been killed.

On August 1, 1945 at the World Zionist Conference in London, Weizmann stated:
"It is a sad commentary on the political morality of this world: in San Francisco (i.e. the Peace Conference)—and again I say this not in any envious sense—States were admitted who had only just signed their declarations of war (indeed the ink on their declarations had not yet dried when they presented their credentials). Some of them had not lifted a finger to help in the war, or shed a drop of blood. The Jewish people, with its six million victims in Europe, over one million soldiers, and the Jewish Brigade Group, was relegated to the corridor. The continuation of this anomaly is intolerable. The Jewish people must be given its rightful place in the family of Nations. Palestine as a Jewish State must be one of the fruits of victory. Under God, it shall be!"

On September 20, 1945 Weizmann wrote, on behalf of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, to Ernest Bevin the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs stating:
"The first declaration of war by Germany (and subsequently by her associates) was made against the Jewish people, and it took a special form. Its aim was not conquest and enslavement, but the complete physical extermination of the Jews, the utter destruction of their spiritual and religious heritage, and the confiscation of all their material possessions. In executing their declarations of war, Germany and her associates murdered some 6,000,000 Jews, destroyed all Jewish communal institutions wherever their authority extended, stole all the treasures of Jewish art and learning, and seized all Jewish property, public and private, on which they could lay their hands."



On November 19, 1945 at the convention of the Zionist Organization of America in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Weizmann stated:
"And in what spirit does the (British) Foreign Secretary (Ernest Bevin) approach the Palestine problem and its relation to the Jewish people? He sounds a warning to the helpless, destitute and despairing remnant of European Jewry, stretching out its hands for the bare essentials of life: "If the Jews want to get too much at the head of the queue they face the danger of another anti-Semitic reaction." What does it mean, 'getting too much at the head of the queue?' A simple request for survival, which is all that the Jews of Europe mean by their hunger to get to Palestine? Is it 'getting too much at the head of the queue' if, after the slaughter of six million Jews, the remnant of a million and a half implore the shelter of the Jewish homeland?
What a sorry epitaph the new declaration of policy seeks to write over the graves of six million of our dead. The soil of Europe is saturated with their innocent blood."

Ben Gurion's too early 6,000,000 Jews call




Over four months before the world supposedly learnt "six million" Jews had been holocausted, David ben Gurion, the future first Prime Minister of the State of Israel, was claiming it was six million during his speech on August 2nd, 1945, at the World Zionist Conference in London.

Gas chambers, gas vans, gas shops




The Jewish Chronicle reported on May 7, 1943:
"Details of some Nazi atrocities in Latvia have recently been given in the official SOVIET WAR NEWS. All Jews and gipies were killed in the towns and villages of Latfalia and in the Kurseme and Verseme districts. Whole families were herded inside shops in the market square and killed off with poison gas."

On the same page, the JC reported on the Germans claiming to have "discovered" (their quotation marks) more mass-graves in the Katyn forest. The JC called it "atrocity propaganda".
In the same article about the gas shops, the JC related the dreadful news from Smolensk (which is only 12 miles east of the Katyn), where the evil Germans had captured the final 16 Jews in the region, tortured them, and forced them to dance naked on snow covered ground to entertain the Gestapo. Afterwards the Jews were forced to dig a grave for themselves and shot. Strangely, the final words of one elderly victim were known: "Our children will avenge our torture!" The JC's source for this massacre, including the quote from the elderly victim, was Mr. Ilya Ehrenburg.
