Mary Beringer Goedken told the good citizens of Cedar Rapids on Independence Day 2001, of her uncle Curtis's DubyaDubyaTwo exploits: "Buchenwald, the infamous gas chamber/extermination camp", the "shoot to kill" policy with cats, and the evil Germans dressing the frozen corpses of U.S. soldiers in German uniforms, then standing them in snow drifts to confuse the American troops.
