Auschwitz survivor questions gas chambers

Nice piece of Hoax denying from M. R. Wright from Kansas back in 1979. He (presumably a he) quotes Esther Grassman, an Israeli Jew and survivor of Auschwitz and Buchenwald, who admitted she never saw, nor even heard of the gas chambers until after her release. She understood why people doubted the gas chambers claims, and she called for a totally independent investigation. Mr. Wright also says that Holocaust propaganda could drag the U.S. into war, and even start WW3. I've not been able to find any further details about this woman, who almost certainly didn't write the quoted piece in English.
