ReplyDeleteWhere did the figure 200,000 killed in Babi Yar? At Nuremberg, the prosecution called the number 100,000, but prosecution does not able to confirm it - there are victims in Babi Yar is still not found the victims.
I think they probably just made it up.
DeleteThe victims of Babi Yar were all exhumed and cremated in a six week period by 300 sonderkommandos, in another worthless effort by the Germans to cover their evil deeds. That's the story anyhow.
Aerial photographs of Kiev, the Luftwaffe made by September 23, 1943, and declassified by the CIA in 1991, show that in Babi Yar, there were no fires, uncovered graves, or signs of human activity. John Ball wrote about it in "Air Photo Evidence". Soviet troops liberated Kiev a month after the alleged "burning" - but did not find any traces of the fires.
