1938, Rothschild & exterminating millions

Nathaniel Mayer Victor Rothschild addressed the Zionist Federation in October 1938 advising:

"There are today in Europe an immense number of potential Jewish refugees and,
however much you may cherish the concept of Palestine as a national Jewish home,
it is obviously impossible for so small a country to absorb so large a number."

"When I say that millions of innocent people must not be exterminated for fun, and to
obscure internal difficulties, those countries agree with me, even though it may
well be they will be unable to take increased numbers of refugees themselves."
