6,000,000, the Kabbalah & Alchemy




Arthur Edward Waite (1857 - 1942) was a British occultist, and a prolific writer on
the subject. He was co-creator of the Rider-Waite deck of tarot cards, apparently
the most popular deck of tarot cards in the English speaking world.

In 1902 he published The Doctrine and Literature of the Kabalah in which he
he mentions the legend of a 14th century Christian Kabbalist and alchemist who
convert base metal into enough gold to mint 6,000,000 nobels (coins)
