Himmler builds hospitals at Nazi death camps




At Nazi Death Camp: Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1943, the Nazis began to build a
"Prison Hospital and Quarantine Section" capable of holding 16,600 people.

At Nazi Death Camp: Majdanek, the construction of a hospital for injured Russian
Prisons of War, was ordered to be built by Himmler on January 6th, 1943:
"Moreover, in mid-1943 the Lublin headquarters of the Security Police, acting on Himmler's instructions of 6 January of that year, opened and subordinated to itself a Field Hospital for Soviet-Russian War Invalids."
