More ridiculously early appearances of the Kabbalistic 6,000,000 figure

The 6,000,000 figure was emblazoned on memorial plaques

in Displaced Person Camps immediately following WW2.

In April and May 1946 a delegation from the American Jewish Congress toured

the displaced person camps in Germany & Austria, in a mission to convince

Jews to go to Palestine.

Leyvik Halpern who was part of the delegation, wrote in his memoir of the

tour that every camp he visited featured a plaque in a public area stating:

Remember what the Nazi German Amalek did to your People

REMEMBER

The six million Jews, Who Perished For the sanctification of

Your name and for the sanctification of the nation

At the hands of the German murderers and hangmen
