Jews expelled Karaite Jews from Spain



Karaite Jews are considered to be the spiritually descendants of the Sadducees. They completely dismiss the Babylonian Talmud as the worthless ramblings of men, therefore they are heretics to Rabbinical Jews.

In 12th century Spain, it was the Rabbinical Jews who expelled Karaite Jews from the country:


"In twelfth-century Spain, Christian authorities supported the local Rabbanite community and helped the latter to expel the Karaites from Spain."
